Cette clé primaire est propre à la technologie et ne peut pas être modifiée car elle sert à faire des réplications entre différents noeuds. C'est le moteur de la base de données qui bloque cette modification. Il est donc conseillé de relire attentivement le numéro de bague renseigné avant de valider l'enregistrement pour éviter toute erreur. Si toutefois une erreur a été commise, dans certains cas, il est possible de supprimer un pigeon enregistré avec une erreur de matricule. Cependant, cela dépend de plusieurs facteurs tels que la descendance, les résultats de concours et le moment de la découverte de l'erreur. Si l'erreur est détectée rapidement et que le pigeon n'a ni descendance ni résultats de concours, vous pouvez le supprimer et le remplacer par un nouveau pigeon avec les informations correctes. Il est important de noter que cette limitation n'est pas propre à Wingup et est courante dans la plupart des bases de données. C'est un comportement attendu et nécessaire pour garantir l'intégrité de la base de données. En revanche, si le pigeon a déjà participé à des concours ou a de la descendance enregistrée sur la plateforme, il ne peut pas être supprimé pour préserver l'intégrité de la base de données et éviter les risques de "cassure" au sein des pedigrees. Dans ce cas, il peut être archivé pour conserver une trace de ses informations dans les pedigrees. Pour résumer, il est possible de supprimer un pigeon enregistré sur Wingup s'il répond aux critères mentionnés ci-dessus pour corriger les erreurs de saisie. En revanche, si un pigeon a réellement existé, comme c'est le cas d'un pigeon perdu, vous pouvez l'archiver afin que ses informations soient conservées dans les pedigrees où il est présent. Si vous rencontrez un message d'erreur "matricule invalide" lors de la création d'un pigeon sur Wingup, voici ce que vous pouvez faire : Tout d'abord, assurez-vous d'avoir saisi tous les numéros demandés par le logiciel, en respectant le format spécifique pour chaque pays. Wingup vous indique normalement le nombre de chiffres à renseigner dans le formulaire, mais si votre numéro de bague comporte moins de chiffres, vous devez ajouter des zéros pour atteindre le nombre de chiffres requis. Pour faciliter la saisie des matricules, Wingup indique le nombre de chiffres attendus pour chaque pays dans les champs correspondants. Par exemple, les bagues belges ou néerlandaises doivent comporter 7 chiffres. Si votre numéro de bague comporte un chiffre de moins que celui attendu, vous pouvez simplement ajouter les "0" nécessaires devant votre numéro de bague. Si vous constatez un format de bague qui ne semble pas correct, vous pouvez cliquer sur "Signaler un problème" pour nous en informer.
